Understanding Polygon Gas Fees
Gas fees on the Polygon PoS Chain are denominated in POL (formerly MATIC) and are typically a fraction of a cent for standard token transfers. The base fee is determined algorithmically based on current network congestion, while the priority fee (tip) is set by the user to incentivize faster block inclusion.
