Search Polygon Transactions by Hash
Every transaction on the Polygon PoS Chain is assigned a unique 66-character hexadecimal hash. Enter this hash into the Polygon POS Scan search bar to retrieve the complete transaction record, including the block it was mined in, confirmation count, gas price, gas used, status (success or failed), and the exact MATIC or POL token amounts transferred.
Understanding Transaction Status
A Polygon transaction can have three states: Pending (in the mempool awaiting validation), Success (confirmed and included in a block), or Failed (reverted due to insufficient gas, contract error, or other on-chain exception). Polygon POS Scan displays the status clearly alongside the revert reason when available, helping developers diagnose issues quickly.
Transaction History for Wallets
Beyond individual transaction lookup, Polygon POS Scan allows you to view the full transaction history of any wallet address. Filter by token type, date range, or transaction direction (incoming vs outgoing) to get a clear picture of on-chain activity for any account on the Polygon PoS network.
